Successful Request for Invalidation Against Japanese Patent

Shine® represented Saiguan Bicycle Co., Ltd. to propose a request for invalidation against an invention patent of Shimano, and afterwards Patent Reexamination Board of SIPO announced invalidation of the invention patent of “rear shifter”.

Shimano is a Japanese company, who frequently filed against Chinese enterprises with its patents of bicycle accessories. When facing 4 attorneys of Shimano from major foreign patent agents, Shine® pointed out the inconformity with patent laws of its patent right with well-founded reasons and proofs, and they were adopted by the Patent Reexamination Board. Finally the patent right concerned was announced invalid.
